  • Solitary head, sometimes two.
  • Similar to Dandelion, but leaves wooly and white underneath
  • Creeping runners form dense mats.
  • Flowers pale lemon colored.
  • Is an allelopathic plant, meaning it releases chemicals that can harm or help other plants.  In this case, it releases substances that inhibit the growth of competitors.  The black walnut tree is another example of an allelopathic  plant.
